One of things I do expect to see some time in the next 4 years is a law passing to make this type of thing going away, same with FTF that do not go thru a dealer.  That is assuming they don't try to shoot for the moon and fail. ( you know tact that onto something like another AWB)

What a waste of a law. If you have a pistol permit in Connecticut, you can buy without the hassle. If not, then you get a permit to purchase after a background check.
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. [Romans 5:8] ::)

But I don't need a pistol permit.  I can buy without 'approval' from my local yokals.  The state issues my CCW but if I don't want a CCW I buy without getting anything from state or local OTHER than a three day wait and in FL once I have purchased a firearm the three day wait can be waived from then on (I said CAN be, not is).

its actually not a useles bill.  Most CCW are good for years, things change, in 3 years you could very easily go from john Q goodguy. to john Q drugusingfelon.

If ALL law abiding citizens were allowed to enjoy their UNINFRINGED 2nd A rights it would not matter because felons would be fewer and more likely shot by prospective victims.

let me ask you something and I want you to be honest.

have you ever commited a felony?  Remember there are all kinds of felonys that most people don't know about.  Tress passing on rail road property is a felony, so is remove the cat from a car/ truck that came with one.

i don't know anyone that has not at some point in thier life.

Ok haz is clearly not a car guy.

I was speaking of the catalytc converter.   I had no idea it was federal felony until my younger brother was convicted of it.  he is trying to have it reduced  so that he can own firearms once more.
