Monday I'm going in to buy my new mini-boom stick. I'm looking at a Glock 22 w/night sights for just over $400. The concern I have is that it's a generation 2 model. Now the dealer I'm buying it from has over the last couple of years given me awesome deals that they don't normally give out to others. (Yes I know this as fact) My question is 1) Is this way overpriced? I've seen some on GunsAmerica and Gunbroker for less but by the time you add shipping and transfer fees it isn't that much of a difference. And 2) I have an M&P .40 and absolutely love it! As someone who likes standardizing and making sure that what ever I depend on in bad times can be repaired and that I am able to get parts easily, is there anything that might be a better option. Maybe an XD or something similar? Is there anything out there that might be more worth wild to add to the arsenal?
