However...............some folks on here do scratch, claw, and poke people in the eye with sharp sticks....occasionally...   ;D


We are up to our bagpipes after 14+ inches of liquid sunshine since Saturday. Not nearly as bad as in Pathfinder's neck of the woods, but the creek has definitely risen a bit.

Crisis has passed for now, river is dropping a foot a day. They do expect another crest when the latest blizzard droppings melt off, but well under where we are today. Still 15 feet over flood tho.

There are trees in a town park just a couple blocks from me, on the river side of the dike. One of the young saplings - maybe ten feet high - has an ice shlef through its lower branches. Thatis where the local river got. The tree is standing free at this moment with its ice shelf. I'll try to get a phot on the way to work.
