No, it's a Kel Tec for $275.  ;D

I paid $250 for mine ;)

Alf, you should get yourself a Kel-Tec. You cant get any smaller and lighter (its an ounce lighter then the LCP), and if there is ever a problem they will fix it 100% and get you a gun you can bet your life on...... Taurus? Well, we have all heard the stories of Taurus' customer service.

Taurus's customer service is great, but it's the fact that so many of them need customer service that makes me weary! :-[

I keep looking at the American Rifle man review of small guns.  All of them had problems, but the Taurus seemed to fair slightly better.  Then on the other hand GunBlast, had hardly any problems and they really endorse the Kel-Tec.

It'll be this weekend, so I can still vacillate......

Taurus, KelTec, Diamondback?
KelTec, Diamondback, Taurus?
Diamondback, Taurus, KelTec?

Big Bullseye on the Kel-Tec.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

I'll stick with my Glock 27 or 30. Light and small enough to carry concealed in the Summer, 10 rounds of full size 9 MM, or .45 ACP firepower. I see no advantage to the .380 in any type of concealed carry format, other than it's the new "Buzz Gun". If you have any kind of large hands these little pocket pistols are simply too small to handle or shoot very effectively. Loaded with modern expanding self defense ammunition, a Glock 27 or 30 with a good set of Tritium Night Sights is about as good as it gets. They will also except any standard size or Hi-Cap magazine Glock makes. A Glock 27 or 30 will out distance any .380 defensive pistol currently on the market. Not to mention .380 ammunition is currently hard to come by, and horribly overpriced when you find it.   Bill T.

Other than it's the new "Buzz Gun".

Well, I've carried a  PPK/s .380 for over 30 years now, so it's not a new "buzz" for me.  With modern SD ammo it makes more sense now that it did when I started.

When possible I'd rather have my P99 in .40S&W, but most of the time, I need smaller and lighter, more concealable.   The PPK/s just isn't hacking it for me.  Maybe I'm becoming a wuss in my old age.  Give me very light and small especially going places I'd rather not have anybody notice.  (well not notice unless the SHTF....in which case judged by 12 rather than carried by 6.)
