What do you get when you cross a handgun, bullet proof vest and a redneck?

A gunshot victim of course!  and someone looking a ticket in to the Darwin awards

Are y'all still accepting criminals in Australia? Because these yahoos are definately guilty of felony stupidity, and we'd just as soon do without 'em. ;D

That is messed up.

I remember years ago reading of a court case where two brothers tested out knife on a bullet proof vest in the same type of experiment.  Of course it wasn't a KNIFE proof vest and it went through like butter and stabbed the brother.

People are just dumb. ::)

I agree, that door knob should have known better!!!  But, has anyone ever seen Rich Davis of "Second Chance" body armour shoot himself point blank with a .44 mag while wearing one of his own vests?  The tape I saw also shows him standing on one foot being shot with a .223 (he had a military quality vest on) to prove you don't get knocked off your feet when shot like they show in the movies!  Some think him certifiable!

It sure got the point across. He was the ultimate salesman and sold alot of product because of those
demos.  I think I remember someone telling me he used to put a phonebook behind the vest before
he would shoot himself.

Certifiable, maybe, but how often do you see companys that confident in their product?
You don't see the CEO of Chrysler jumping behind the wheel to test the airbags.  Well, since BHO thinks
he is CEO now, maybe he should give it a shot. :D

Rich Davis was the guy who came up with the Second Chance Body Armor, His shooting himself started with the question, Why should we trust your product ? How much do YOU trust your product ?
Where as the Yahoo's started out with "Hold my beer, watch this".
