Sorry I haven't commented on this yet guys.. Marshal is gone to Arizona for the week so I am a bit behind..I have received several pms concerning this .( all good of course) and Marshal and I will help out too. Monetary  and I will be glad to hold the money or do whatever it takes. Someone needs to find a way to call M. Luttrell  and talk to him. with our $$ from Down Range..and the other donations , he maybe would want to combine the money and pick out and find his own dog. * I would if I was in his shoes*
 I will be talking to  Marshal and Michael this evening. ..and see maybe if they can contact him (If you all want that) or Rebel.. Ping.. fighting quaker .. one of you can call him yourself if you want to and discuss it..

I think it is a wonderful idea...

You might want to contact the person or persons behind the other site that is wanting donations also.. find out if they have talked to him and what their thoughts are. Partnering up might be a good thing in this case.

I sent a email out to Glenn Beck earlier asking for his assistance in contacting Luttrell. He seems to have a relationship with him and might be able to help in getting our offer across. I'll post if I get anything back.

M'Ette is right about  talking to Marcus about a dog.  He may not want one at this time, and if he does, he may want to pick it out.
I wish Marcus the best and thank him for his service.   He sounds like quite a remarkable person.  My prayers are with him.

Heard the story on Beck, and came to the realization the God works in mysterious ways, as these scumbags would be maggot food. The restraint shown was amazing.

I'm in for a contribution, but as others have posted, Marcus may not want another dog right now. The name of the dog, and what it meant to him will have to be dealt with by someone who can talk to him.

Is there anyway we can leak this info to the prison these dirtbags are going to,, lots of dog owners in prison,,.... convicts don;t like it when stupid punks just randomly kill one.

Could be some "in-house" justice.......

I'm embarrassed to have been living under a rock since 2005. I have not heard of Marcus and his incredible experience.
The fact some dueche bags killed his companion is a slap in the face. >:( I believe Marcus employed great restraint in not killing these scum bags.
