Buddy of mine runs his S10 at the local 1/8 mile drags.  He has to watch it cause he doesn't want to have to cage it so he has to stay slower than a 6.5 second run.  He has a 350 in it.  (w/blower and other goodies)

Had three complete rear-ends. A friend worked at a junk yard and got me three different sets of factory rear-ends.
The stock 2:76 for the highway and daily driving, a 3:73 from an El Camino for 1/4 mile fun, and a 4:10 out of a Blazer for 1/8 mile playing.

That's the way to go. I had a 1966 Chevy Caprice SS "a boat I know" with a 327,B&M street and strip tranny,3grnd stall, 4:11 rear-end. Loved to race Mustangs ;D  In fact never was beat my a mustang 8)

Maybe Rob should look into a S10 instead of a Challenger or Camaro ;D
