Actually that is part of the haggling.

Red and Silver are out.

Orange or Black are my preferences, but I know myself well enough to know that I can't/won't keep black looking good. (I've owned 4 black vehicles). Orange is a cool color that I have taken to over the past few years and it is pretty easy to keep looking good without waxing the car every day (note that I do not have a garage). When I first saw it, I couldn't get the General Lee thoughts out of my head, but I've gotten over that. The black ones look more like Max's pursuit special than any other production car I'm aware of, so it has that going for it. Blue is, as noted above, the "trendy" color and a distant 3rd.

They are playing the "we can sell you the cool new blue one without a markup, even though it is a cool and new" game because apparently no one wants the first one they are getting in next week. They have 3 black ones in stock, but none in the configuration I want. There is one Orange one that they can have delivered which is laid out exactly like I want.

Between Chrysler likely filing for bankruptcy next week, and GM killing off Pontiac,...

I hope they get it right with the "do over"

No more Chevette's or Fiesta's, or K cars.....

Too bad,,, an anniversary Trans Am would have been nice...

If you order one the window sticker will have your name on it.  As in "This vehicle assembled for Rob Pincus".  Or something like that.  I'd have to check mine, but I remember that.

Orange is retro = cool for later in time, I hope you got the biggest hemi, the 6spd, and all the creature features, these will be the good things when and if you want to sell it later. I think the challenger is what made the others revamp the camaro and the mustang. It really resembles the original Challenger. Have Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

I wish the new cars looked new instead of 40 years old. Can't they come up with anything better?
