"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven." James 5:15

Done!
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. [Romans 5:8] ::)

Thank you all for you support and prayers.  We just found out today my grandfather's cancer is in stage 4, and his doctors want to send him home with hospice services.  We, however, are unwilling to give up on him, so we are seeking, at least, a second opinion and maintaining our faith.  Well, I just wanted to update the situation and say thank you.  It's nice to have a family out there in addition to the one I was born into.  :)

Swoop

P.S.  For those of you who prefer to have a name when praying, my grandfather is Johnie Justice.  Thanks again and God bless.

Amen to that Haz, my Dad lived in Hudson when he died, the Hospice people (Pasco County I think) were great, especially as he was a bit on the difficult side.

Our prayers for your family and Johnnie, Swoop - God alone knows what will happen and why - and it will be right.

Swoop, this is NOT just a "gun forum",, this one is different. We stand tall and do not stand idly by when a member has a request.

A Prayer for you and your Grandfather:

Bring to all a sense of your presence.Guard them as the apple of your eye. Shelter them in the shadow of your wings and enfold them in your presence. This we ask through Christ our Lord, Amen.

”May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (Romans 15:13).

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
