to ALL DRTV members and there families

Have a Good and safe Easter everyone


take it easy if you are driving,   over here it is one of the worst times to be driving with all the fatal accidents

ROFL! ;D Laughs ass off ;D ;D ;D ROFL some more. Rises wheezing to computer. Phil, I love you man. You have to love the cultural differences. Here in the states, Easter is pretty much a religious thing. Yeah, there's the Easter bunny for the kids and the obligatory annual church attendence for the Christians in name only, but for the most part its either religious or ignored. I just can't get the image of a bunch of liquored up Southeren Baptists going hog wild and sowing terror on the interstate out of my mind. For us its New Years, Thanksgining and the Fourth of July that lead to drunken mayhem. Happy Easter to you to mate.

yep there is a very big Christian side to it,   and the bunny

over here  it is a 4 day weekend,  the friday and monday is a public holiday 

so a lot of families go away for the time off


the big time off for us is 

Christmas,   New Years,  Australia Day,    Easter,  ANZAC Day,  Queens Birthday,  Labour Day ( October)

however drunken mayhem,   we don't need any excuse for them  heheh ;)

Haven't you guys heard?  We are not a Christian nation, so knock off this religion crap!  Easter is all about obscene windfall profits for big chocolate.

I'll go stand in the corner now.

Too close to what we have done to Christmas, Easter, and the observation of our Heros that protect us and our Freedoms for me to make fun of  :'(

According to the Bossman, Good Friday is not an excuse to take a couple hours off for services, but it is Audrey's birthday (Pastor has been sending us edited bulletins for a month already, so need to be there tonight to see what really happens), the daughter and her fiance are coming home tonight (so will have a late family supper and a family day on Sunday (they both have work assignments in the local area Saturday), and not being on call it will be Church on Sunday (not an annual or semi-annual trek, but with this job monthly is about the best I can do).

Just like Christmas, it is time for everyone of every faith to research and learn why Government shuts down for this season!
