Ghost Inc. Triggers
« on: April 10, 2009, 11:11:34 AM »
I was wondering if anyone has tried one of the Ghost Inc. 3.5 Rocket triggers in there Glocks. I am thinking of installing one in my Model 22. All information would be appreciated. Thank You, Monty

I've "heard" many aftermarket connectors are made of thinner material that can bend from to much pressure on the trigger (you squeezing just a bit after it lets the hammer go).  And this lead to failure to operate (no more bang, bang).

Your gun, your decision.  Worth looking at.  http://anarchangel.blogspot.com/2005/03/how-to-make-glock-not-suck.html

The same effect can be done with stock parts....
"Why are you carrying a pistol?  Expecting trouble?"

"No Maam.  If I was expecting trouble, I'd have a rifle."

Hear is what I read from there web sight. Take it or leave it.

HOW OUR GHOST TRIGGER CONTROL CONNECTORS WORK

The ROCKET 3.5 & TACTICAL 5.0 are the Ghost Trigger Control Connectors they feature the Patented Trigger Control Tab (TCT) this tab is fitted to your Glock and shortens the over-all length of the trigger pull and eliminates accuracy robbing trigger over-travel. The TCT gives you a shorter faster trigger pull and keeps your shots on target. The ROCKET 3.5 or TACTICAL 5.0 are the only trigger parts you need to buy. You decide your trigger pull weight either 3.5 lb or 5.0 lb, either is suitable and legal for self-defense. The ROCKET KIT is definitely the preferred Trigger Control Connector set-up for sport shooters. There are no screws to come lose and jam your gun. You do not have to buy a trigger housing and a 3.5 lb or 5.0 lb connector to get a great custom trigger pull, just a ROCKET 3.5 or TACTICAL 5.0.  These Trigger Control Connectors also have the Patent Pending Debris Channel(s) or holes. Why is self cleaning so important? Because as you fire your pistol debris builds up on the trigger mechanism surfaces. These debris cause additional friction. This friction increases the weight of the trigger pull thus increasing the force applied to the connector. As the trigger pull weight increases the connector is pushed towards the rear of the trigger housing eventually far enough that the pistol will not fire! The channels also reduce the thickness of the connector body by 33%. This reduction increases reset speed and becuase these channels are located on the centerline of the connector body they do not cause connector torsioning. The holes remove trigger choking debris from the trigger mechanism making sure your Glock keeps shooting no matter what you get it into. The Ghost Inc. Trigger Control Connectors and Trigger Connectors are the only ones that are self cleaning and make your Glock more reliable-why settle for less. All of our Trigger Control Connectors and Trigger Connectors are Factory Polished, polishing removes surface imperfections in the steel resulting in the smoothest possible contact surfaces ensuring a smooth consistent trigger pull every time, no other process including plating gives a better low friction or smoother interaction of the contact points for your trigger.  www.ghostblock.com/

I bought a 3.5 lb trigger connecter for my glock 19. It's simple to install but after installation, my gun would fire when I squeezed the trigger and when I released the trigger. Not supposed to do that. I received a replacement quickly, but the same thing happens. I spoke to the guy from ghost inc. He told me just to bend the tab a bit and that would fix my problem. I just haven't had time to figure out what tab to bend.

My son put one on his Glock 30SF. Worked great and he was able to adjust the up take and rebound. He is pleased with it.
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. [Romans 5:8] ::)

Non-factory parts should be considered a "transfer device" and will accomplish two things for certain.  One, it will make money for the manufacturer and two, will make money for the guy who sold it to you.  A "transfer device" is something that transfers your money to someone else.

I've seen dozens upon dozens of Glocks equipped with Ghost triggers, all with functional problems that were eliminated when the non-stock parts were replaced with factory stuff.
