I ordered a G17 in January. Took eight weeks to get it.
And yet you could have had mine in three days. ;D Seriously, they are a great gun, not a target pistol (unless you shoot practical matches) but they shoot minute of bad guy, go bang every damn time, and don't require a lot maintance or any after market upgrades. What you see is what you get. Point and click, works for me. I vote for either the 9mm or .45 as I don't see anything in the .40 that makes it worth the extra $5 a box of ammo. As far as the.45 abortion, I mean GAP, or Sig .357, do you really want to own a pistol that you can't be sure you'll find ammo for? They might be great in theory, but with a 9mm or .45 you'll always have a loaded mag.

Give it to M'lette and let her hold it. Beyond that I am clueless. ;D

I like my G27...but I wish I'd have bought the G30 instead....nothing wrong with the .40, but looking at things now, I would rather have the .45.

I would never regret the G27 -the most power to weight/size ratio in the bunch.   It can be very controllable with practice, and will always conceal easier than the G30.  The 30 is a little easier to shoot with hot loads.  The only real solution is to have both!

Just kidding..........a little.  ;)
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Lets see, a picture of the lovely M'lette holding a glock on the one hand, OR a picture of an antiquated rust bucket taped to a "perfectly" good MODERN firearm on the other hand. Peg, you need to leave the farm more often. ;D
