Bill,

I have seen this vid before.  The guns are 'one offs' built for Saudi princes and such to the tune of 100s of thousands of dollars.

And yep, I want one ;D

I know the prices are off the chart, but being a machinist all of my life, I can really understand the cost. The engraving alone on these rifles can easily run well over 500 hours. Not to mention one little slip and it's all over.  Bill T.

Years ago someone made a double barrel M100 12 gauge with a pistol grip. The mainspring was moved from the stock to the forend.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783

I'll still take why? for a thousand Alex. The piont of (modern) doubles over repeaters is absolute reliabilty. You start losing that AND add the reduced double barrel accuracy. Cool, for the rifles yet, but I'd still rather have a classic H and H or Webley for the same money for the rifle, (maybe a drilling). As for the pump shot gun, the kid was using the four round tubes. Wouldn't an extended tube work better and easier for any tactical application? Kids these days.........

I don't know why any one would want to own one other than the novelty of it, but this sort of "Hey, what if I " tinkering is the mother of invention and advancement.
