Officer Dies, Prayers needed
« on: April 22, 2009, 01:53:20 PM »
A local Police Officer, who was the brother of one of my mom's good friends, was killed while on duty just after noon today. It appears that a car hit him while he was answering a call on his patrol motorcycle.

I received the following in an email from another of my good friends who is a Lt. with the Department......

TPD Officer Terry Adams was killed a short time ago as he was responding to an emergency call on Tift Avenue north of 14th Street. Terry was our motorcycle officer and had been at the department for over 7 years. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
Please pray for Terry as well as his family.
Thanks

Please keep the family of Officer Adams in your prayers.
Thanks,
Peg
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

Please keep the family of Officer Adams in your prayers.
Thanks,

Done...considering what you and I've been through, it hits close to home.  Give my best to the family if possible.

It's very sad.

Please let the family know many are including them in our thoughts and prayers.
