Boy, this really makes me proud to be a Georgian.............. (note heavy sarcasm here).
Also note, that this sanctimonious, 'good ol' boy' does NOT speak for all Georgians.

He only speaks for three Peg...

Jimmy, Rosalind and Amy....that's about it!  We know better.... ;)

He's always been an idealistic do-gooder who can't stand up to anyone. He's been an uninformed knucklehead for years. NOW (apparently) he is a SENILE uninformed knucklehead.
I got the blues as my companion.

Shouldn't he be confined somewhere with the other alzheimer patients?
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. [Romans 5:8] ::)

CARTER PRESIDENTIAL MUSEUM CLOSES FOR RE-DESIGN. RE-OPENING ON OCTOBER 1, 2009 - The Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum closed its doors Sunday, April 26, 2009 in preparation for a $10 million redesign of the museum. Carter Library director Jay Hakes and the head of the redesign project, Dan Lee were on hand as security guard Mica Harlon closed the doors to the public. "We have been working on the museum redesign for a long time," Hakes said. "Its exciting to be getting ready to start the actual work." The Museum will reopen on Oct. 1, 2009, Carter's 85th birthday.

The project will be paid for with private donations and $7 million already has been raised. More personal insights from his presidency and a focus on his work through The Carter Center to fight poverty and disease and champion peace and democracy around the world are among the highlights planned.

They still need $3 million in donations...........if anyone is interested.............   ;D  ;D  ;D  ::)  ::)  ::)
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I wish someone would tell him to Please Mr. President,....

STFU! :-X

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Same sarcastic sentiment here.

JC was a bust as much as Governor as he was a President.    People are amazed when confronted with the fact that Lester Maddox did more to advance minorities in state government positions than Carter or any liberal before or after his term.

Hell, George Wallace did more for minorities the the teeth did.
Their going to reopen the library on his 85th birthday ? I hope he's busy talking with Ms. Lillian and misses it.
I don't generally hold grudges, or actively hate people, but this clod kicking POS is on my list.
