This time of day make it a good spicy bloody Mary, thank you!

here is something I picked up in college from a bartender.  take a bottle of vodka  add about 25 pepper corns and let it sit for a week shaking every day.  Strain the pepper corns and use for bloody marys.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

You can make great hot sauce, particulary for sea food the same way. Clean out a slad dressing bottle, add 4-6 datil (preffered) or serrano peppers, fill the bottle with dry sherry and after one to two weeks you've got a slightly sweet and very spicey sauce that is mo'better than tobasco or crystal on things like shrimp and fish. Although here you leave the peppers in, they last about 6 months.

Does the HB in "HBMan" stand for Huntington Beach? If so, we're just about neighbors.

Fuzdaddy,

Not Huntington Beach more like the 45th parallel between the 106th and 107th meridans. Glad to call you neighbor all the same.

This is the only forum I post on. I have checked out others but the people I respect and watch on television giving tips and guidance like Michael Bane, Rob Pincus and Michael Janich are on here. They also take the time to respond to our questions on here. Everyone seems rather insightful and are willing to lend advice on here.  ;)

Now I am thirsty thanks to all the comments about bloody mary's.  Like mine with plenty of horseradish and Tabasco Habenero. Has enough sodium to make my heart explode so I try to leave them alone.  :(

As a card card carrying elitist, I resent all these denials. Hell, I've been called an elitist on this very board, and if you read it on DRTV, its got to be true. Newbie! ;D

Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

I try my best, but work keeps calling  >:(  Between being tied to the phone and then getting called at weird hours you never know when I'll be lurking ...  To top it off I got to wake a guy in beautiful downtown Newton, KS a half hour ago  ;D  Always fun to compare fuzzy minds in the middle of the night.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.
