There are NO other forums that I am aware of where you can rub elbows with the next President and Vice President of the United States, except THIS one!!   ;D
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

I joined the M+P forum, in 08, and left in 08, maybe it was just the vast number of folks posting, but it was; I'm right and your a schmuck for doing "whatever" differently.

The tone and vibe was all very "elitist", maybe it's changed. Usually the Walther forum is OK unless you get the Interarms are real Walthers, the S&W all suck guy,....

The KTOG forum is down to earth, and lots of good info there for Kel-Tec owners. Others are about the same.

If I have question about a 9mm I own, I don't need to read a post from  .45 "God" that won't even respond to us lesser caliber owners, but will take time to post about his disdain for anything less... >:(

This forum is/has always been thankfully different. I even agreed with TAB the other night... :o

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

CR, there is a "12 Step Program" available at your local Junior College.....it's tough, but eventually you will learn to disagree with FQ again.

Be Brave!  One day at a time, "God, grant me the serenity!"....

This program works for TAB as well.....

I don't know about rubbing elbows, but raising the cholesterol level is a plus!

A 9MM! You need 2 of those to be as good as a .45! And Another thing.....  ;D

KIDDING! (sort of ;D)

I used to hang out on Glocktalk forum, but just sort of drifted away for whatever reason.... It seemed to be a really friendly one, for the most part. I just got tired of hanging around there all the time. Then wandered in here, and like the format better. Y'all just TRY getting rid of me! ;D

I am on a few forums

and would be active  on about 5 or 6

however  this one and Australian Hunting Net   are the 2 I would say I am most active on

the reasons  are   they both are similar,   in regards to how they are run

we don't have a lot of censorship  ( and that is definitely on AHN )   we get to say what we think  even if you don't agree
we do more than just talk guns  / defence / hunting / shooting   it is about the life style  families and more    even the shits and giggles  we have

the best way I can describe it is   it is like being at the pup with mates  all having a chat and a few beers,   telling stories and having fun

I could go on how good it is here however I would want to hit my self for brown nosing any more  ;)

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Interesting topic:  It is a very small person who will not set aside their own ego to reach out and help others.  Those that RIP others need our help most and are the most unwilling to receive any help.  You are right that this suppresses new member question and that is a shame.   My thoughts for what it is worth?    R S
