« on: May 03, 2009, 12:49:15 PM »
Here's another article on Al Gore's profiting from his Global Warming scam.

He should be right up there on the 'accident' list too!

And speaking of the pompous gas bag..........

A Tale of Two Houses

House  #1

A 20 room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) heated by natural gas. Add on a pool (and a pool house) and a separate guest house, all heated by gas. In one month this residence consumes more energy than the average American household does in a year. The average bill for electricity and natural gas runs over $2400 per month.. In natural gas alone, this property consumes more than 20 times the national average for an American home. This house is not situated in a Northern or Midwestern 'snow belt' area.
It's in the South.

House  #2

Designed by an architecture professor at a leading national university. This house incorporates every 'green' feature current home construction can provide. The house is 4,000 square feet (4 bedrooms) and is nestled on a high prairie in the American southwest. A central closet in the house holds geothermal heat-pumps drawing ground water through pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground.

The water (usually 67 degrees F) heats the house in the winter and cools it in the summer The system uses no fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas and it consumes one-quarter the electricity required for a conventional heating/cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. Wastewater from showers, sinks and toilets goes into underground purifying tanks and then into the cistern. The collected water then irrigates the land surrounding the house. Surrounding flowers and shrubs native to the area enable the property to blend into the surrounding rural landscape.  The heating/cooling system is so efficient that initial plans to install solar panels were cancelled.

~~~~~
HOUSE #1 is outside of Nashville, Tennessee. It is the abode of the 'Environmentalist' Al Gore.
HOUSE #2 is on a ranch near Crawford, Texas. It is the residence of the former President of the United States, George W. Bush.
Yes, it's "An inconvenient truth.."
Bullseye PegLeg45, Between Al Gore's "quaint" little mansion, and the FORMER Senator John Edwards, D-NC, his mansion as well, both probably suck more power than several neighborhoods.
The sheer audacity, hypocrites, pompous d****ebags that these two are, plus Harry Reid's NV mansion, and don;t even get me started on the Kennedy compound in Mass.
I can't believe people fall for their BS.
It both proves and follows the basic elitist liberal mentality of "Don't do as I do, do as I say to do".
Global warming is a bunch of crap and I can prove it.
Dinosaurs, millions of years ago cold blooded reptiles dominated the planet. Giant asteroid comes and hits near mexico, or volcanos or something else got spewed into the atmosphere. Earth cooled down a lot. The dinosaurs died, even the ones living in places like: the Gobi desert, the mountains of Utah, South Dakota, Antartica and other places that they have found fossils.
Later
Huge woolly mamoths roam the plains of America, Siberia and as far down as California. Ice covers much of the world and huge glaciers carve the American plains flat. New England is scraped off and little more than rock is left. The ice starts to melt because the dust is settling. The sun comes out. Woolly mamoths, mastadons, saber tooth tigers, giant sloths, little horses, dire wolves and huge bears die because it is no longer cold enough and they get too hot.
fast forward to today.
We look at the blink of an eye in time and say it is getting warmer. Of course it is, it is going back to the temperatures of the dinosaur days, they natural state of the earth. DUH!
I don't know about any of that stuff, but I can tell you one thing. It is hotter then hell here in my neck of the woods. It's not any hotter then normal though, so I can't really say there is any kind of warming. Just the way it is. The way it has always been as long as I have been alive, and as long as my family has been in Texas...Which is before Texas was really Texas.
