I actually turned a pressure cooker into a nice little still. Just set it on your stove and you're good to go. Made it where I didn't even ruin the thing so it still works as a normal pressure cooker... The wife was happy about that part.

Made some white lightening a few months back from an old sour mash recipe my grandpa had. Tonsils have healed finally.

(Pretty sure it's still legal to make it for personal use, otherwise disregard what I said.)  ;D ;D

You must be from Bastrop County.   ;D

LOL! Nope, but that ain't too far off. But far in Texas has a whole different meaning then far anywhere else. Spent a little time there fishing though and biking in Smithville. Now I am wondering why you would say that... Are there a lot of crazies like me in Bastrop? Maybe I should avoid going back. Might meet my other-dimensional persona and cause the end of the universe.  ;D

Sterno filtered through bread??!!! Good God, I like a good buzz as much as the next guy, but yikes! It was like in high school, when the exotic buffo toad gained a foot hold here in Florida. They excrete a neuotoxin from their necks when stressed. It will kill a small dog, but in humans its a hallucionagin. The in thing for 9th graders was to cath one, squeeze, and lick. Me, I've never wanted to get stoned that bad (although if I was driving the Red Ball Express, it might have been a live option).

I find American beer a bit like having sex in a canoe. It's efing close to water.
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

I was visiting a friend of my stepfather's who lives in the high crime ghetto of Jupiter Island. He had just bought a house next door to Greg Norman. We met him on the lawn and the three of us introduced ourselves. My stepdad's friend invited Norman over to his place for a beer. We started back in. Norman then says "Wait, do you have Fosters?" Upon hearing no, he says "Lets go to my place". The friend then asks "Do you have Budweiser?" Its all pissed out of the same horse Phil! You want to talk Guiness or Bass fine, but don't give us crap about Fosters or Swan, we know better. ;D

Actually my son's a county LEO there.  They've actually busted up a couple of stills along with a few random meth labs.  Anyway, the drink of choice down that way seems to be...Lone Star Light.

Given the fact that they are so close to Luling, home of Shiner Bock (the beer of the gods), and still drank that swill, I hope they threw the book at them. >:(
