I was visiting a friend of my stepfather's who lives in the high crime ghetto of Jupiter Island. He had just bought a house next door to Greg Norman. We met him on the lawn and the three of us introduced ourselves. My stepdad's friend invited Norman over to his place for a beer. We started back in. Norman then says "Wait, do you have Fosters?" Upon hearing no, he says "Lets go to my place". The friend then asks "Do you have Budweiser?" Its all pissed out of the same horse Phil! You want to talk Guiness or Bass fine, but don't give us crap about Fosters or Swan, we know better. ;D

hehe     I don't count Fosters or Swan as beer  either

my self  I try to keep the blood out of my Alcohol Stream

beers

Coopers Pale Ale

Coopers Sparkling Ale

Cooper’s Extra Strong Vintage Ale
At 7.5%, it packs a punch, especially since it is so easy to drink.

Tooheys New

Tooheys Extra Dry Large

Guinness

Spirits

Bundy Rum

Wild Turkey

Basil Hayden Bourbon

Jameson Irish Whiskey

Johnnie Walker

then there is the wines and including fortified wines ie Ports, Muskets   all local though (anything Barossa Valley or Mclaren Vale )

I'm not a bourbon guy, but if you trade in that wild turkey on some Makers Mark or George Dickel, you will never go back.

Hey, I won't argue with a Georgia boy about bourbon as its about the 4th choice on my list of hard liquor. Just don't diss Barbancourt Rhum (except for that stupid "h" in the name, in which case feel free) and we're good.

Just a friendly jab........can't knock the Rhum, I've never tried it............ used to drink a lot of Bacardi (151) rum in my younger days because it was really cheap. Then I found Golden Grain (190 proof) mixed with green Gatorade for cheap drunks.

The jab is fine. Just don't mention Barbancourt and gatorade in the same sentance again. ;D Seriously Peg, if you like rum at all, its the real deal, dark, not too sweet, no spices or any of that crap, and a nice little anise flavored finsh. Sip (not drink) it neat, or put it over rocks strong, and add coke, little by little as you work your way down. It should start strong and then mellow as you get through the glass. Again, the only good thing to come out of Haiti.

I just stick to Bourbon or beer........too set in my ways, I guess.........
I have tried many types and when I found what worked well for me I stuck with it.
