Won't know about the free time until fall.....but there's no shortage of motel rooms in Tifton. They're building two four level motels and just finished one other one. I think there's something like 2000 rooms in town.

Is there actually that much demand ? I don't think we have that many in Laconia and this has been a vacation area since colonial times.

Tifton is a big stopover point on I-75 for yankees, um, er, 'friends from the north' when traveling to and from the homeland before and after winter. Three US highways and an interstate run through.
For a town of only around 18,000 and a county of around 45,000 or so, it's busy on weekends. A lot of traffic.
