Notice how far all their shoulders were back,... some were even leaning back like shooting some .22, instead of INTO a very large caliber rifle.

I have shot a .416 Rigby, 3 times. The first shot was totally INCORRECT form, and I looked like these guys in the vid, but did NOT drop the rifle.

After a laughing, sore but serious lesson on stance, squaring to the target, and weight distribution, it is tolerable, and manageable.

These rifles were not designed for rapid fire or multiple rounds. The round will STOP what it hits, elephant, rhino, dump truck, Grand Cherokee, Terminators, Zombies...etc,....etc,....

Still great to watch the T-Rex! :o

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Quote
The famous Jeff Cooper said he'd call it the ".577 Dundee" and explains why:

We were fascinated at SHOT to examine the "577 Tyrannosaur" from A Square. This piece is designed to end all discussion about stopping power. It is a bolt-action (1917), 3-plus-1, 13lb rifle which fires a 750-grain bullet at 2460 feet per second. It is said to be the first sporting rifle cartridge that "breaks the 10,000 foot-pound barrier."

In my opinion this is a definitive example of a piece which is made to own rather than to shoot. It is not at all clear that it will kill an elephant or a buffalo or a hippo any better than a well placed hit from a 470, and, of course, it will not do anything with a badly placed hit except annoy the recipient. As I see it, this combination should be referred to as the "577 Dundee." You keep it available in your armory so that when people start talking about the power of their rifles you can break yours out and say, "That's not a rifle. THIS is a rifle!"

my understanding is the 577 trex is a 700 NE necked down to 577

I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Actually the mark of a good dangerous game rifle is that it will reliably get off a quick second shot.  That is why doubles are preferred.  Triggers are not light weight to prevent premature firing when excited.  And a bolt action should have control feed, so you don't drop a round out of the chamber.
