Yep, seems that most men try to play the 'macho, I already know how' card. At least that has been my observations during several "Introduction to Firearms" and "Firearms Safety" classes I've helped teach in the past.

Good job, Cman!  Taking a newbie to the range is as much fun as shooting, for me.  Love to see the growing understanding and fun they have.

Thanks Cman for introducing a new shooter to firearm.  Like others have said the more that learn the better off we are.  The fact that she is a woman probably helps the firearms cause even more.

Make sure she recruits her friends.  We'll need every vote we can get to preserve our 2A rights, in the coming years.  No group can claim to benefit more from those rights than women!  These girls may not be able to pack heat until they're 21; but, they can help ensure that the option remains open by voting for it, once they turn 18! ;)

Being a "relative newbie" myself, I've appreciated the input of everyone. Had firearms training as a kid (father was law enforcement officer Homicide division) then told us kids NEVER touch them again knowing what they can do.
40 YEARS LATER.... I want him to teach me the proper way. Have a couple of Ruger Single 6's taking with and told him I'll shoot what ever he has.  :D
