Well today, Sunday May 17, is finally the day.  Happy Birthday Benny.  You sure picked a good way to celebrate this weekend.

COMPLETELY off topic, but am I the only one that thinks New Mexico smells funny when you drive through it?

Honestly, don't try to keep up with my thought process. I'm like a 3 year old boy that just discovered his penis.... It's mine but I have no clue how it works.

This old country girl can't wait to get out of the city congestion and be back to my little town.
But we are having a great time and as long as I don't have to live here..I can keep a smile on my face and enjoy the "visit".

This is the city? I lived here in the early 90's and I always thought it was small. I was used to the LA area. Walking in Phoenix's downtown area today, I thought that it was pretty empty, except for NRA folks.

My 5 year-old thinks the heat feels good and she likes that it means it's pool time, but I'm looking forward to the OC's beach weather.

I'm sorry we didn't see you or the other M's. We made a few passes by the Outdoor Channel booth and generally kept our eyes open. I did see The Gunny, Todd Jarrett, Ollie North and Ted Nugent. You guys are just more exclusive. ;)

So everyone knows for future NRA conventions, 17 year-old daughters that aren't really into guns, get pretty bored and they get some attention that puts dads on sentry duty (she was really patient). 5 year olds that have their own pink Peltor headphones will look at pink guns all day. The expo got my wife a lot more into it. She's got some new favorites. Let's see if I can convince her to go all the way to Charlotte in 2010.

Who was the blonde lady signing autographs at the Ruger booth? She looked really familiar and the attention that she gave my younger daughter netted me some extra swag.

Everyone was really nice and polite. Our people are the best. 8)

Short version AWESOME. The 3 M's were very gracious and fun.

Fuzzdaddy, don't know how we missed each other as neither of us new what we looked like, until M'lette posted the pics. My cover is blown. It would have been nice to have met you and your family.

Now to the real skinny, the 3 M's are the best, very gracious hosts and allowed me to tag along on a few things. Introduced me to some cool people, the people at tac/solutions, Wes Dos, Tupelo Flash, and took pics to boot. Marshalette is even prettier in person and more fun than she is here. Marshall is very cool and I think watching our backs as the day unfolds, Big fella. I just happened upon MB going up and down the aisles as he was talking to a vendor, he saw me out of the corner of his eye and I just waited my turn, after he turned to me to ask if I had an opinion of what the conversation was about and I just shook his hand and said " Hi Michael, I'm M25," his eyes got big and his jaw dropped a bit, and he shook my hand like we were old friends, we talked a bit and I said hey if you were going somewhere lets go, and I'll just keep up, but he called Marshall and M'lette and we met them at the next place He was supposed to be, He introduced me to them and M'lette could not control herself ;) and immediately started kissing me all over and Marshall was taking pics, I had to pull her of myself, but the damaging photos had already been taken, ( did I tell you M'lette is a russian spy, a mastermind in espionage )  So I cruised around awhile with them after the lipstick wore off, and then We met for supper, much beer was applied, trying to get information from me of course, AND a Green Chili cheese hamburger, but it did not work, but then they brought in the big guns, as I was giving my order a big fella wearing a western suit sits down to my left, M'lette is on the right, and a young beauty is sitting between M'lette and me, it is Michaels SWEETY, and no names or pictures will be confirmed, she is a really a nice, beautiful and gracious ( have I mentioned Gracious enough, but it's true ) Lady. The Big fella to my left is "SHUDDER" Jim Zumbo. We met but did not talk much as my attention was on M'lette and Sweety, with Marshall watching all our backs. Michael was working the room and he is very good at it. We said our goodbyes for the evening.

Saturday, to be continued, and what about Squibby??????????????????????????

very Cool M25 and Fuzzdaddy

sounds like it was a shit load of fun

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Sounds like a great birthday present you got there m25!

I hope you know how jealous you are making the rest of us  :'(

Pictures would be nice, but stories are fun to read.

I had a great time at the show.  Was able to meet a lot of people, unfortunately I didn't get to see or meet the 3 M's I would have talked to them.  Made a lot of connections, had a great time with friends, and felt good to be free and able to carry once I left the PRC.
