First, he's not my guy, its just that I couldn't in good concience vote for the GOP after the last 8 years, but I still will accept responsibility. As far as your point though, McCain was born in Panama and his dad in Mexico. ;D
FQ13

But both McCain's parents were American citizens  and the Canal zone was US territory. You are using intentionally flawed reasoning to defend BO, who's sire was a foreign subject, who's Kenyan relatives claim he was born in Kenya and who attended a "Citizens only" school in Indonesia, and has refused the simple expedient of showing a valid embossed birth certificate. The "Certificate of live birth" produced by his campaign staff was proven to be a forgery as that design was not in use at the time of BO's birth.
In your rush to defend a socialist, anti American illegal immigrant from the notoriously corrupt Chicago Dem machine, who has no actual experience of anything except smoking dope and shooting hoops you carefully avoid mentioning the definition of "natural born". You are a tool.

All US military bases are considered sovereign territory...as are all of the Military Cemetary across the globe...without question!
Actually, while agree with you in spirit, its not without question. The constitution is pretty damn clear about being born here (with the exception of the Hamilton loophole). Even if your mother were American, for a large part of our history, a woman's citizenship was held to attach to her husband. The Chinese Exclusion Act in fact said that any woman marrying an alien ineligble for naturalization would lose her US citizenship (iroincally the court reversed itself in shafting the half American Vietnamese children of US GIs claiming citizenship, by saying that only maternity not paternity could be verified). The point is though that US bases may or may not, depending on the treaty enjoy extra-teritoriality (like an embassy does, as its considered US soil) . This is all academic nit picking, but so is all the right wing Obama isn't a citizen nonsense. Love the man, hate him, I won't argue, he's not my first choice for the office either and with each passing day McCain is looking better, just climb down from the grassy knoll though.

Smoke, mirrors and bullsh!t. The Panama Canal zone , By treaty, was US territory until that asshole carter gave it away. Therefore your whole post is invalid.

For the record I agree with you on Carter. Giving it "back" to respect Panamanian national sovereignty is a joke. The only reason there IS a Panama is that TR supported Panamainian seperatists against Coloumbia, which was soveriegn at the time, in exchange for the canal. I did not know the specifics as to whether the zone was US territory, ala an embassy, or merely leased, like Gitmo or Subic Bay. If it was ceded as territory, then I stand corrected. Although frankly I think its irelevant in spirit anyway. It is just one of those little niggling points a conspiracy theorist could make hay with if they were so inclined.

Don't forget the 5th.... to put such a media spin on it that the entire neighborhood will line up just to look at the window.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
