"Old School" lay A way

I was going to get a Taurus PT845 but shifted the layaway to this.  A 1917 dated Webley Mk VI, converted to fire 45ACP in moon clips or 45 auto rim. I've already got a 1917 Colt in 45ACP/AR, so this will be his Emperial Cousin.

Ugly darn piece of history. But with the moon clips and break action it probably reloaded nearly as fast as a 1911.
British guns had a reputation for being rugged and reliable but why did they have to make them all so darn homely ?
The only British designed guns with pleasing lines were the Double rifles and shot guns.
CJ, this is NOT a slam at your cool acquisition, (especially if you already have the Colt, Now you need the S&W and a 1911    ) It's just a rant about British design. The only other countries that consistently design guns with nice lines are the Germans, Other countries might come up with a nice one now and then, (except Japan who NEVER made an attractive firearm) but generally they build stuff that looks like clubs.

Very cool old guns. I'd like to have one, as well as several other British designs.

Might be England's eternal Sisyphus complex and the old British 'stiff upper lip' thing.
Kept them from making very many attractive 'anythings'.
Take the old Land Rovers for instance, ugly, but reliable and tough. I've always wanted one of those too.

Nice gun. I have heard reports of shoddy accuracy from these particular handguns and I was wondering if this was just old wives tales? I have found that almost all handguns are more accurate than I am so I am just wondering.
