Resident Evil - A new zombie movie
« on: September 27, 2007, 06:59:03 PM »

It's movie time again and the #1 movie these days is Resident Evil with the pistol packing Milla Jovovich who returns as Alice, eradicator of zombies.

And for the gun enthusiast, I have just learned that Alice is fancying the Para LDA system.  ;D

Michael who loves to "fight zombies", will probably add this to his zombie weapon system. Maybe that is why he made this DRTV gun report..

Could be Alice decided to use the pair of the Para Nite-Tacs after reading this review in Combat Handguns:)

Only you understand that gun owners like me watch movies for educational purposes.

Btw...

If you decide to buy a Nite-Tac after watching the movie, you should take advantage of this offer for DRTV Active Forum Members.

Weeelll, I guess I am showing my age again, but we used to call that "short stroking" the trigger.

I learned about short stroking the trigger big time at an IDPA match when I was shooting a .357 Dan Wesson vintage '76ish revolver.

True story- I fired five shots in a six chamber cylinder, SHORT STROKED THE TRIGGER ON THE LAST ROUND BEFORE RELOAD and spun the cylinder!!

I then feverishly clicked my way back to the last live round. (I know, I shoulda just dumped the cylinder and reloaded immediately)

I checked all my revolvers after that and the Dan Wesson is the only one which spins the cylinder when you short stroke the
trigger.

Speed vs accurate hits. What to do, what to do?

Best regards,
