I also worked all over the country track signage and exhibits for Nissan and Fram/Autolite. The entire Country has some racism to some extent and it comes from every ethnicity and class. To me, people are only responsible for the things they have a choice in, not anything they are born with. People of any race can choose to be idiots, or even evil.

Tab said: "The midwest, most was from black to white."

You are right on the money TAB. The only other place where I saw "reverse discrimination", argued with a Civil Rights rep over this one, was in Sikeston, Missouri. I get sick and f-ing tired of being guilty for being white. And I am part Cherokee.  ;D

The attitude is that of the ignorant. Racism is racism.

Fixed it. But right on with the comment, although the racism I have seen is pretty prevalent across the country, not just in the Midwest. And I too have worked or lived (while working) all over the country.

To nudge back toward my original point (after the way I've helped twist some of the threads on here I can't complain about minor thread drift  ;D  )  I am not saying racism doesn't exist, my answer to MOST  (not all ) of it that I have seen is " You were never a slave, and I never owned any, so shut up and do your job or starve, I don't care which." My answer to the rest of it is "if skin color is the only reason you can find to hate some one then they must be OK. "
My original point was that we already hated B O, we simply use the stereotype insults because the comments about him being a crooked, do nothing, lying, communist with loyalty to no one but himself get old and we occasionally would like new material to insult him with in order to express the disdain we hold for him.

I am racist!!!

I hate the Relay, The Marathon, 100 and 1000 yard dash, never cared much for the Iron Man and I can't stand the egg in the spoon, sack or three legged.

I do on the other hand like the Tour de France. Therefore, I prefer one race over another and I am racist. Although, I am not influcenced one way or the other by the amount of pigment in one's skin.

I don't care what color someone is.  I don't like trash no matter what color it is.  I don't respect people that blame everyone and everything else for their failure to help themselves.  I refuse to be blamed or feel guilt for their perceived wrongs.  My direct ancestors were not in this country until well after slavery and the civil war.  They came here legally, worked hard, did well, and prospered through hard work, patience, and fiscal responsibility.  They survived the great depresion and the dust bowl.  Is there racim, yes.  I've seen raciism on several sides and it's not pretty.   I've worked in a 90% minority community and have experienced racism first hand.  Ive seen the race card played often and effectively.  I'm tired of race and racism being used as an excuse to do better and be better.

You won't hear me whining about the days when they had signs "No Irish need apply".
