Digging through the DRTV archives, (thank you for keeping them available Marshall), I found last years Memorial Day Posts, and another post I made a month earlier, after losing a close friend in Iraq. Members that are still here, and some that are not, and some that are in a better place, (gunman1911, Ranger Emeritus), made posts and shared thoughts and prayers to the fallen soldiers that this holiday is really about.

Thought some may want to read again.

The members here, also shared support and words of encouragement, and prayers, when I needed it, and for that I will always be truly grateful.

For Memorial Day this year:  My friend Bobby's in a better place, and in the best of company at Arlington National Cemetery. This was the OP.

Thank you DRTV Rangers, members, and moderators, you are all a "cut above" a regular forum, and being a part of it is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely wishing all a safe and Happy Memorial Day.

Tom W.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
