Big Cats
« on: May 24, 2009, 08:00:18 AM »
at the start of the month we took one of our Nieces for here 13th birthday to Monarto Zoo here in SA  ( a massive open plains Zoo)  we had booked a meet the Lions experience  where we got to feed the cats

WOW these are big cats when you are only 4 feet from them and there is only a fence between you and them

was definitely well worth the experience,

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Totally must be in the DNA of all cats:

Sleep, wander around a bit, eat, Sleep, wander around a bit, eat, repeat,..........

My two "lion" wannabee's can duplicate those great pics philw, except one prefers her meat slightly grilled.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Interesting video Phil.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington.
