The Liberal Agenda
« on: May 26, 2009, 10:37:36 AM »
I stole this gem from An Ol' Broad's Ramblings: (http://olbroad.com/) because it is relavent as well as an appropro list of the Liberal Agenda. Guess where we are in the list??

From the Urban Dictionary:

In a large nutshell, a libtard’s goal in life includes one or more of the following:

–the establishment of a Socialist “utopia” (a.k.a. a global nanny state)
–”benevolent” totalitarian control of the world’s population through any means necessary
–ever increasing government micromanagement of private enterprise (a.k.a. clueless meddling)
–the adoption of laws, treaties and tax regulations that hinder America’s competitiveness
–the usurpation of the legislative process, at all levels, through judicial fiat
–the filing of specious law suits in order to thwart the will of the people (e.g. Calif. Proposition. 187)
–the promotion of the tyranny of the minority
–the filing of specious law suits to shakedown corporations for cash (under the guise of “social responsibility”)
–the disproportionate taxation of citizens “who have more money than they need”
–the redistribution of wealth from producers to non-producers (under the guise of “fairness”)
–the banning and confiscation of all privately owned guns (even though it has lead to genocide)
–the abolition of all private property rights
–the destruction of all national sovereignty (America first, of course)
–the destruction of Capitalism
–the establishment of one religion (with no personal accountability), OR the abolition of all religion
–the appeasement of Islamic radicals and their American front groups like CAIR (see: Religion of Pieces)
–the regulation, or banning, of all opposition media (under the guise of “fairness”)
–the appeasement of Communist dictators and their American front groups
–the further insertion of Socialist ideology and indoctrination into public school curricula
–the purposeful “dumbing down” of the masses through inane public school curricula and pedagogy
–mass thought control through “speech codes” and political correctness
–the further promulgation of the homosexual/pedophile agenda
–the teaching of HATE (superficially disguised as “Women’s Studies”, “African Studies”, etc.)
–the legalization of marijuana (”far OUT, man”)
–the establishment of world wide socialized medicine (under the guise of “fairness”)
–the conservation of the environment over the conservation of the American economy
–the demonization of attempts to make English Americaâ??s national language
–world peace (which genocidal dictators define as: “the absence of conflict”–dead men cannot resist your brutal oppression)
–the conservation of the environment over the conservation of humanity
–the promotion of abortion as birth control, eugenics, and teaching the theory of evolution as fact (even though the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics precludes it from the get-go)
–the abolition of individual freedom
–anarchy

"...it does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds" -- Samual Adams

The American school system already fulfills the 10th plank of the Communist Manifesto, by it's very existence, universal free schooling. It only makes sense that bad things are being taught to our children there. Correction other peoples children, I refuse to allow mine to go there.
Rights are like muscles, when they are not exercised they atrophy.

Universal free schooling was also pretty high up there on the Founders agenda as well. The idea being that an educated populace was a lot harder to control than ignorant peasants. This, is in fact the reason the 1st ammendment is so important, and the failure of so many local papers so distressing. The 2A is only meant to be a back stop to the 1A. If we don't have an educated and informed populace all the guns in the world won't save us from tyranny.

Well put FQ...my issue with public schooling is that the teachers have turned the classroom into mini political reeducation camps. Hard to be an educated and informed populace if those being taught are being inculcated in only one point of view.

Somebody tell me if I'm way out of whack on this:

I am saddened by the fact that the worst thing done to the education system was implemented under a supposedly "conservative" president, with the support of a republican congress. I am referring to No Child Left Behind.

Now I have now children, my wife and I made that decision partly because of things like this. So you guys with little ones in the public indoctrination system tell me: When we started no child left behind, didn't we just start lowering the standards to the lowest common denominator?
I am a member of my nation's chosen soldiery.
God grant that I may not be found wanting,
that I will not fail this sacred trust.

You are incorrect on one point. We didn't JUST start lowering standards to the LCD, we tied funding to it in a punitive fashion. So if a school has say, a lot kids who aren't native English speakers and they test poorly money will be lost not added. It means (here in Fl where the idiot in chief's brother was governor) that teachers will have no choice but to teach to a standardized test. We all know that that is the way to a good education. ::) As a result things like AP classes, vocational classes and the arts get shunted aside.

Bush let Ted Kennedy write the No Child Left Behind Legislation, soon after taking office. It was an attempt to "reach out" to the minority party (at that time). Which of course came back to haunt him, bite him in the ass, etc,....

Generally, that is how "non-partisan" legislation works.

When BHO's Crapulous Bill was signed, no Republicans in the House signed off on it. The Mighty 3 RINO's (after Specter left just 2),

signed in the Senate.

So when this country achieves going to hell in a handbasket over the next 3 years, and inflation kicks back in to Carter Era rates, at least Republicans might have a shot at winning, but since NONE have the belly for a fight with BHO, maybe a Third Party Candidate, other than Ralph Nader, might stand an even better shot.

just my old 2 pennies worth.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Education has been going to hell since the socialists started infiltrating in the 60's. When I was in school the teacher RULED the class room, we learned to read and write English, as I advanced through grades I saw the quality of education decline.
