Who should Fred Thompson have as Vice Presidential running mate?
« on: September 29, 2007, 08:42:32 AM »
I am curious as to who Fred Thompson would pick as his running mate?  Who do you think would be a good choice?

If Fred gets the nomination I wouild like to see him do something daring with the VP. Select that Steele fellow who was Lt Gov of Maryland and who lost his senate race last year, for example. The VP needs to be someone who will generate buzz to help blunt the "love in" the media will have over Hillary.

I think Duncan Hunter would make a fantastic running mate.  He's a serious man with a serious grasp of the issues.

Tom Selleck.  He has passion for guns.  He could be VP for 8 yrs then pres for 8 more and by then I won't worry anymore.

Duncan would be good but I don't know if he would bring enough states with him to make him a viable vote getter.

This is one that we really need to consider carefully...We gun owners are about to be seriously attacked again
by the anti's...If you don't believe me, check out the bill H.R. 1022 I believe, which will be coming up for vote
sometime in the near future...They're after all of them.....I believe Thompson is a solid candidate. and I hope
and pray he will pick a "like" partner in this campaign...

Ann Coulter, just to torque off the Edwards.

Well there is JC Watts, Steve Largent, Huckabee, Brownback
