I know I'm not one of Patrick's constituents...not that it would matter, but he does have a contact page and I suggest we begin to bombard his page to politely allow his staff to know Sonia is not a person to support for a position on the Supreme Court of the U.S.A.  Patrick Leahy is the head of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

My commentary, below:
Sonia Sotomayor is clearly a bigotted individual.  Her racist commentary and support is undeniable.  She has an unacceptably poor record of being upheld in higher courts, highlighting her glaring legal deficiencies.  I will lose all remaining faith in the Democratic party if Sonia Sotomayor's nomination makes it out of committee.

 In regards to the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, regardless of her blatantly racist and sexist comments, that fact that she has a 60 % overturn rate should disqualify her from consideration for such an important post.
Although the fact that this administration put a known tax cheat in charge of the Treasury Dept. would make her nomination par for the course.

In regards to the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, and also pointing to the fact that the current administration has put a known tax cheat in charge of the Treasury Department, it would serve to farther add that said nomination of Ms. Sotomayor is truly par for the course.

We need to write again and mention the obvious lower standards for those who vote democrat, this type of conduct got Clarence Thomas pilloried for weeks in the press. But then even Democrats don't expect much from some who would vote for them.

Sure would be nice for dear old Pat to have a few hundred disconcerting emails...not threats, just threats to walk out on the Democratic Party if this bigot, Sonia Sotomayor, is allowed to foist her rascist views in the U. S. Supreme Court.
