Speedloading For Tactical Shotgun

What speedloading systems do you know of for a tubular magazine shotgun, like a 870, 500, or any others.

I have heard MB on the podcast not that long ago talking about an over the top load

and that you can keep just running them as long as you have ammo to feed it

Good stuff, what about any different types of contraptions out there, I've seen the the tubular feed thingy, and the California Competition Works coin dispenser thing.

I've used the coin dispenser thingy. It works well as long as don't try and jam 8 rounds in a shotgun that only holds 7.

I have 3 of these thingys. They have competition and tactical in the name so you know the must be good

They are designed for games and not deployment but they are very rugged.  The clip on them would fit on a vest pocket.
If you use the spacer, the shells don't rattle. I use the thingy in some IDPA side matches every so often.

In fact on the rare times I have grab a shotgun and gone out looking for whats making the dog go nuts, I have ended up just throwing some additional shells in my pocket.
It has ended up being a coyote who's looking for a meal.

I use the four rounders, because they fit my hand well.  The key to these is practice, practice, practice.  Finger dexterity is important and practice helps.

I've seen guys using loaders similar to these (fast.......when they work). The one guy using them said they took alot of "tweaking" to get it working right. You do have to put on an adapter to make life easier with it.

The belt mounted shell holder in that YouTube video of PFC Horner and SFC Johnson is made by Progressive Machine and Tool.  It is a nice piece of "kit".  It is made out of milled aluminum.  I also have the California Competition Works shell holders, but they are plastic <sigh>.

As far as the actual speed loaders go, the plastic tube-y thing-a-ma-bobs, well, I never used them, but in all the 3 gun competition videos I have seen, it looks like it helps if you have the Aredondo mag well attached to your shotgun.

Then there are the Saiga shotguns.  They take a box magazine and look the whole thing looks like an AK47.
