From the Dickinson County, Iowa Sheriff's Website......................

Kramme charged with Attempted murder
DCSO has filed attempted murder charges against Travis William Kramme (24) of Spirit lake.
The charges stem from an incident in the 2800 block of Hwy 9, east of Spirit Lake.

A Sheriff's Deputy was eastbound on Hwy 9 with a passenger car and a semi tractor/trailer in
front of him. A westbound vehicle driven by Kramme drove into the eastbound lane in an
attempt to hit the semi head on. Kramme's passenger was able to grab the steering wheel
and turn the vehicle before hitting the semi. The Sheriff's Deputy stopped and arrested
Kramme. He was booked into the Dickinson County Jail and is being held on $27,000 bond.

Kramme is charged with:

Attempted murder
OWI 2nd offense
Driving without a valid license
Open container

The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Spirit Lake Police.

All persons are innocent until proven guilty

One could propose a Assault Car ban.  But I would urge, 'we must not allow for a assault car gap!!!'

Yes, and we must start with the outright ban (and stop the influx) of those deadly foreign assault vehicles.

Well, the new Chrysler/Fiat combo will be nothing more than a "speed bump" to a semi.

Semi Driver:  "What was that?"

Passenger: "I think it was a 2011 Chrysler/GM (pick one), black wind up car,......."

I used to call Yugo, "the car so crappy the country fell apart, but that may get switched to the next Gov Motors car.

I have to add that there are new European front bumper regulations so that cars are friendlier when they hit pedestrians.  OK, maybe friendlier is the wrong word.
