Having been a member for some time. I have enjoyed the outlet this forum has provided.

We as a nation, however, are entering a time very different than our parents and grandparents. This is a 9:00 minute video sent to me that gives a peek to a "possibility" of our future, and is one to watch. It is done well, and is not your "standard" youtube thing,... if you can't take 9 minutes to watch it at least get past 3:33.

I have watched it several times and considered whether to post it or not. I am not a doomsday type of person, but as the POTUS is in the middle east, with a major speech for the Muslim Nation tomorrow, and the state of our Immigration Policy pretty much unchanged by either party, what is the "tipping point" for a national crises that will effect every single American.

I just ask you fellow members to watch it especially the 3:30 minute mark, some scenes will be familiar, some are flat out graphic.

There is a prophetic Johnny Cash song for a part "When The Man Comes Around",,, it takes on a different meaning when edited with this scenario. It is just one, hopefully that this country will not have to endure.

If it does,... regretfully, I will be contacting members here for hopes of a future.

Feel free to respond for or against the possibility.

Hell of a post, TW, sobering. I sat and stared at the screen for a while before replying.

Honestly, I do not know what is going to happen with bho selling us out and bankrupting us at every turn.

I saw something today that compared Aldous Huxley's Brave New World with George Orwell's 1984 - and Huxley looks like he got it more right than Orwell. The sheeple are being led by what they love (TV and other distractions) rather than what they hate (Big Brother), although both lead to the same place - tyranny.

I'd love to be a Wolverine, but I am old, fat, have bad knees and a heart condition. Will any of the kids be Wolverines? Some maybe, but also maybe not enough.

I don't know what will happen when TSHTF.

Us old fat guys may not be 'wolverines' but we can hand on knowledge and defend a postition with the best of them.

In any case I will go down doing more than just 'swinging'. I will connect and make sure my passing meant something.

Indeed Haz. I ain't what I used to be (who is) and for the most part thank God, except when it comes to being a Wolverine. I can still ruin your whole day at 250 yards (even if you are wearing a vest) every time, and you only have to do that twice before the mortars come to make it worth while.

We are on the edge of a deep dark abyss, that will make the great depression look like a walk in the park. The neat thing is that not only have we allowed evil men to get into positions of power, we have been the ones who gave them the money that empowers them. Patriotic Americans faithfully paying their taxes to fund their own destruction.

Obviously the first 3 1/2 minutes already has happened as that was all news footage, the tricky part is what comes next.
So BO calls for Martial law, (Does he have the balls, that would cost him his power base of blacks) part of that is the suspension of Congress, , will they obey ? If they don't then right there you have a split in the chain of command that will lead to Civil war or forced removal of the Pres. That is the key question. The second question would be the purpose and scope of the order, if it were to squash riots by unpaid welfare recipients and illegals, or to suppress Tea party protests by fed up citizens. The answer to THAT question has important ramifications in the response by military and police forces, if it's to quell rioting they will go in and kick ass just like always. However if the order is to mobilize against peaceful protesters, reserve and guard members will be choosing between their oath and their orders, units will follow the lead of their commanders, some will follow orders just like in Shays rebellion, the whiskey rebellion and Waco Some will not involve themselves, whether they just drag their feet or refuse to move, others may try to protect the Citizens.
UN intervention ? We supply most of their equipment and lift capability, unless they find some one else to supply heavy equipment and get them and it here it will not happen, IF they overcome that, they can of course stage through Canada and Mexico, 90% of the population will do nothing, the other 10% are divided between Thugs hoodlums gangbangers and other scum, and "The resistance". Win lose or draw it will be long and bloody.

I had to think for quite a while before responding to this one.
One reason is that I am truly afraid that this is where we are headed if we cannot gain control of our government.

We are right now living through probably the scariest times in U.S. history. Comparable only to the Civil War. We are facing the very real prospect that our country could collapse. Our government is spending money faster than they can print it. And of course the faster they print it, the less it's worth. So now they have to print more...and based on nothing!

Analysts say that we could be headed for bankruptcy. I say we are already there, financially, morally, and ethically. Need proof? Just flip on network television for about an hour during prime time. I feel that something is about to happen in this country. I feel that the silent majority is getting very tired of being silenced. We had our peaceful tea parties. We were mocked by the media, and ignored by or representatives. We vote for things like traditional marriage, only to have our votes thrown out by activist judges. We ask our representatives to at least read a bill before signing it, and they make a joke out of it by hiring a speed reader.

I can feel something happening in this country. Quiet tremors from the anger being built up. Government would be wise to pause, and take note of these rumblings. Because if they continue down this path of destruction, and fear mongering, then the silent majority is going to loudly explain to them that we will live in fear of them no more. And that they will count themselves lucky to be voted out of office, rather than thrown out.

I feel the same way and would venture a LARGE bet that so does the vast majority on this board.
