Don't know if I'd been gone, but I surely would've spent much more time in the corner.   ;D

Not surprisingly, the American people continue to ignore the facts that have led to the destruction of their Nation, and even to this day they continue believing the lies heaped upon them by their celebrity driven propaganda media, all the while never wondering what are the true reasons why over $25 Trillion of their personal savings and home values and all of the job gains for the past decade have been wiped out in less than six months.

And, how far these American people have actually fallen is, perhaps, best summarized by the Russian writer Stanislav Mishin who recently wrote:

“First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

I just said in a recent post that we are on the edge of a deep dark abyss, I believe that on a national basis there is nothing we can do. Like minded people need to band together, and pool their resources, material intellectual, and spiritual.

I would also add to your observation in which I agree with:

  • The destruction of the nuclear family through no-fault divorce in the 60's.
  • The further destruction of the family by homosexual marriage.
  • The marginalization of the most innocent who are annihilated by abortion.
  • The excusing of men by society, holding them accountable to fulfill their innacte responsibilities.
  • The wide acceptance of men to refuse to accept responsibility, lead courageously, reject passivity, and to expect the greater reward.
:'(

Let us stand fast and hold to the principles to:
1.) Living Pure
2.) Right wrong
3.) Speak truth
4.) Serve the King!  ::)

Semper Fi! 1975 to 1979
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. [Romans 5:8] ::)

The greatest means of influencing the behavior, opinion, thought and voting trends of the masses lies in how the content of the mass media is orchestrated to lead the audience to the conclusion the source wants them to reach.

I sometimes imagine the masses, out there in TV land, to be sitting in high-chairs as they stair wide-eyed at the boob tube, gumming themselves, while baby food rolls down their chins.  That, in my politically incorrect mind, is how they brainwash the educators who poison the minds of our young.  That is, when the administrators aren't busy suspending (& seeking the expulsion of) second graders, for bringing toy guns to school! ::)

I don't quite understand why this is such a shock to so many. America was built to be only as strong as her people, here people have been dropping the ball since the start. Time has its way of catching up and thus it has but what more can anyone expect, or better yet what do you want?

How many here want it both ways? How many hold such disdain for the impoverished suckling from the tit of the goverment and yet those very same stand by the mail box waiting for their own?

How many rail that liberty and freedom are god given rights that nobody can take away and yet will with one vote destroy someone elses liberty and freedom because they don't agree with it on a religious or philosophic level?

How many weep for the loss of the unborn and scream for the death of others?

Is your poverty more important that others? Does your freedom hold more weight? Does life have different values based on where you live and what culture dictates your values?

 :'(

Either our republic was made strong enough to endure this test or fate will run its course, in either respect I have long since given up on the idea that I can make a difference...
How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live.
