thats really not that shocking

MIT offered a class on rubics cubes when they 1st came out.
Actually had an aquaitence who took that one. I gave him hell about it. Then he explained stuff that involved fractal geometry, probability, quantum mechanics, spatial applications of matrix algebra etc. I pretty much shut the hell up.

actually there is only 1 solution to the rubics cube, it does not matter how it starts out, it is based on very heavly on math.  which is why if you know the pattern, you can do it blindfolded.

There is actually tons of great math that can be done around the rubics cube. ( I have my masters in math)

I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

Experience, that's why schools were teaching that the earth was flat when any one who lived near the ocean could SEE they were full of it.

What I found most interesting about te article was that the protestors had actually figured out a way not only to get people interested and ACTIVE in their cause, but somehow convinced them that they should PAY for the opportunity!
Absofreakinloutely amazing!

Lesson 1. How to handle dog shit without getting it on you
Lesson 2. Coping with handcuffs
Lesson 3. Maintaining your composure in Jail
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

You forgot proper shower etiqutte, including the use of condoms and KY gell. This guy pisses me off. What he is doing is wrong on so many levels I can't begin to count them. Not only is he endangering his students to feed his own ego (which should get him fired right there), but he also makes the rest of us look bad, as though we are complicit with this a#$%hole (another firing offense). The bottom line is that are professional standards. That was made clear to me from day one, and right after don't sleep with your students was don't use your students for personal gain. I don't care if its getting the football player to help you move, the cheerleader to help you have a warm bed or the idealists to martyr themselves for your cause. Its just flat wrong and an abuse of power over immpressionable kids who want to please an auhority figure. This SOB should be out of a job, politics be damned, left or right it doesn't matter. This is just somebody who knowingly (or they should know) abusing a position of trust. Screw'em , they violated the code and they are a stranger to me.
