Universities no longer have professional standards. If the average college or university professor didn't have tenure to protect them, they'd be living under a bridge.
The old saying about" Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach." is even more pertinate today, than when it was first coined.
Just uttered that same saying in a conversation with a guy yesterday.....and yes, I agree.
