Newsweek’s Evan Thomas: Obama Is ‘Sort of God’

Newsweek editor Evan Thomas brought adulation over President Obama’s Cairo speech to a whole new level on Friday (6/5/09), declaring on MSNBC: “I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God.”

Christ! Even his kids are going to be giving him crap over that one. Can you imagine the scene when he vetoes a boyfriend? "Well Dad, you are like a god and all (cue teenage eye roll  ::)) but......... ;D

Ok somebody correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't it Evan Thomas who said a couple of years ago, when asked why he was so spiteful towards Bush, "It's our job to hate the president." ????

So next time I get mad about watching my country being driven towards Eurosocialism(which the Europeans don't even want any more), should I say "Obamadamn it"?
