Natchez cant give those scopes away

So what the hell is wrong with these Tru-Glo Scopes?

http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=xrtg1410008&lsrc=NZ&src=BE400

Natchez has had this and other Tru-Glo scopes for $60-$75 for what seems like forever....... So what the hell is wrong with them? Why can they not get rid of them?

Beats the heck out of me - marked down from $285 to $60? I have tru-glo red-dots, not Eotechs but they were also $40 and have been excellent.

I may have to order one - and I'm unemployed!

What do they mean by this?

I don't know that much about scopes. I've been primarily into defense guns, but not necessarily tactical.

What is the use for this scope? It seems like it's more of a long range scope. If I bought a deer rifle, what would be a good all around type of scope for it?

I think it would look spiffy on top of my M1A, replacing the Govt 6x I've got. It's either this one, or the $1000 Leupold. Let's see, $60 or $1000, $60 or $1000, hmmmmm - tough call.   ;D
