socializm works if there is no corruption... since there is always going to be corruption, it will never work.
Thus, socialism doesn't work.

Hell TAB, if there's no corruption, EVERYBODY "works"..........as opposed to sitting on their lazy asses with their hands out.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

No it doesn't. Marx's theories contained basic flaws that would prevent the system ever working properly on a national scale. I would go into details like incentive but I don't have copies of his books to reference. I will however point out that Engles, and later Marx, were inspired by Hegel who's theories were widely debated and rejected , at least as far back as the Napoleonic wars. Even if a "Communalist" society WAS workable then (It wasn't, they tried it in France and wound up with an Emperor) It would be impossible to successfully transfer that primarily agrarian thinking to today's primarily industrial society.

Well the latest on the local talk show network is that this isn't a "bailout", it is "helping Californina with it's cash flow..." this straight from a congress woman (didn't catch her name as I was driving in traffic at the time) and the infamous Senator Barbara Boxer. The congresswoman says the feds can't bailout a state; but it can help with some stimulus money to increase the cash flow of the 8th largest economy in the world. Jeez. I almost had to pull over.
