It is a funny story.  However, I'm a little disappointed that given your admission of inebriation, "blind drunk" as you put it, that you decided to use a firearm rather than a pointy stick to murder the offensive toad invader.

tsk, tsk, tsk..... >:(

To avoid further Tsking, which would be VERY appropriate if it were a firearm, it was a .22 pellet gun. The only danger was me shooting my eye out, which, with a single shot rifle, would take some doing, but point noted.

As long as we've gone serious - TSK, TSK, TSK ...

A gun is a gun, and guns and alcohol don't mix serious off and risk taken with outside watchers... Is that a toad over there ... Here ... hold my bear and watch this still not right, but in this group funny

Slighly better, thanks for the clarification but remember FQ, a young girl of 22 was killed outside of Fenway Park a few years ago by an overachieving, undertrained dimwit of the Boston PD with a PAINTBALL gun...shit happens and she was just walking through the crowd to get away from the rampant idiocy of Boston FANatics...

There are reasons for firearm safety and I don't take them lightly.

Is that chef porn?
Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

Sounds like you'd have been much better off using a baseball bat.

Sneak up and club its ass like a baby seal.

Tough to do in a bouganvillia. Pretty flowers, but inch long thorns and dense as hell. Great to look at, not so much fun to trim, but they are a TACTICAL plant. Any burglar that gets through one deserves the TV.
