Went to visit my dad for Father's Day (well Father's day week actually) in Sarasota, FL. Hauled him around to all the gun shops. Nothing!
On the way home today stopped in Tampa at "Shoot Straight Tampa" O. M. Gosh!!!! Now that's the way a gun store should be. Over 4,000sq ft. Just gun stuff. No fishing stuff, no boats, no cooking stuff. Just guns.
The wife was in a good mood 'cause my birthday is in 3 weeks.
2,000 rounds of Federal 9mm, 115gr! Shortage? What shortage they asked? Oh, yeah, .22lr and .380 are a little hard to get, but they had plenty of 9mm and .223! No limits.
Also scored a SureFire fore-end with tact-light for my Mossberg, an extra P99 magazine and they threw in a free polo shirt.
HAZ! You been holding out on us. Shoot Straight is great. So if you're ever in Tampa stop by. They have a stores in Castleberry and Apopka (Orlando area).
It has been a great week, and it's only Wednesday.
