Farrah, I will miss.  She was my catalyst into puberty.  I will love her always.

Wacko Jacko?  meh.  I am not sure I feel "bad" or his kids.  Maybe now they will have some sort of a shot at a normal life and upbringing.

I am still mourning John Wayne, Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson, Steve McQueen, and of course Moses himself...Mr. Heston.

I still have one of her posters from the late 70's.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Me too.  It hangs in my man room.
God bless, and sincere thanks to all our fine people in uniform.  You pay for our freedom, and for that we owe you all we can give you.  Thank you.

Musically one should note Jackson's passing. In his own way he made a lot of cool music that people could dance to. So as a musician I wave goodbye, even though he hasn't done anything musical worth a s*** in years and years. Plus he did turn into a zombie freak. But hell....Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 year old cousin and we mourned his passing from the musical world.
It's just the way it is.
Maybe M58 could weigh in on this for us....just how long ago did the enbalming process actually start with him?
I got the blues as my companion.

Goofy as he was this is still sad.
He had talent, and did very well for himself until he went off the deep end.
Regardless of what he was or became, there are a lot of family members hurting over this.

Always the professional.  ;)

Sometimes you just have call a freak a freak and know that little children will sleep soundly tonight. Never cared for him or his music.

Not only was he a child molester, he screwed Sir Paul McCartney out of the rights to a bunch of the Beatles songs, and he was an icon to the assholes wrecking the country with socialism. He was also doing everything in his power to shaft the people who worked for him.

I will separate the tabloid from the talent, and hopes he Rests In Peace.

Was he weird? yes. Was he talented? yes.

Will his musical talent, as jay stated leave a legacy? yes....

For that, it is a sad day in the musical world.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

should see the jokes that are out there all ready
 ;) ;)

I will post a few later ;)

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them
