All you can do is what you can do.  Afterall, the only face you have to see in the mirror is your own.
And on that, sir, we are agreed.

Let me say this. Rachel Maddow is my favorite evening "news' anchor. Not because I agree with her, (I don't about 2/3 of the time) but just because she is educated on the issues (Oxford Ph.D in polisci) but most of all she doesn't yell. Its not the shout fest of Matthews, O'Reilly or Hannity. She does let opponents actually speak, so you have a debate (where you might learn something) rather than a shouting match (all heat, no light). I would also note that she is  a gun owner. She hunts and fishes. Hardly a stalwart of the 2A, a fuddette on her best day, but still someone who can be (hopefully) educated.

She may be 'educated'...but every time I've ever seen her on any show, she has had such a condescending manner when discussing politics. Seems as if she thinks any other idea, other than one that agrees with hers, is stupid.

Now that's just my opinion, FWIW........

I could be wrong.....

I have been before.

I agree with you 100%

You are not wrong. Thats sort of an occupational hazard, and one that irritates me. Look at Rush, Hannity, Olberman, Mathews etc. They all have "the" answer. They just treat their guests with varying degrees of condecension. When was the last time you saw someone like Ted Koppel or David Frost who just let someone talk and actually explain what they believed and why? I think Maddow comes closest of the shout-O-vision hosts but she ain't there yet, not by a long shot. I wonder what it will take to get the networks to realize that I don't want to see who can "win" a shouting match, but to actually listen to both sides making ther best case and make up my own mind?

I was in no way, shape, fashion, or form meaning that she was mutually exclusive in that regard.    ;D

Edward R. Murrow died on April 27, 1965....that was the begining of the end as far as journalism goes.

All of the "state run" media are shills for BHO. Maddow is a disgusting excuse for an objective reporter who along with her "liberal" friends laughed at the Tea parties, and used obscene terms to reflect homosexual behavior on true patriots. Just your kind of girl HUH FQ13.
