Love the Rugers, hate the engraving. I like plain and functional. I'll settle for Kid's Colt Python and Haz's sawed off pistol. Good enough for me.

Here is mine, National Match Springfield M1A.  Before the crazyness I could have picked one up for $1400 but passed on it.  Now they are close to $2000.  Oh well.

Oh yeah, a Bowen Alpine.  I've talked to Hamilton several times, just have never been able to afford what I would like from him.  He is a true gentleman and we had a great conversation.  He was not snooty or upity like some custom smiths act.  He was actually the one that happened to answer the phone when I called to order his book.  I hadn't expected to speak with him when I called.  He pleasently answered some questions I asked and wrote a nice inscription in the book and signed it.
