There is no way this could be owned by someone in Illinois!!! ...to get through all the red tape to own all these firearms in a anti-gun state.
Actually, if you don't live in Chicago, Illinois isn't a difficult state to own firearms in. In fact, if you cut Chicago off and floated it out into the lake, the state's attitude would be much closer to Wyoming than New Jersey.
You do have to have an ID card (called a FOID) and there is a 1 day waiting period for longguns...3 day for handguns. Other than that, no huge roadblocks. Now, having no ability to own full auto and no provision for CCW is outrageous. Fortunately, no mag capacity limits or made-up AWB.
