As much "buyer's remorse" as I have heard from Obama supporters (even FQ is having second thoughts about his choice), and considering how close the 2008 election actually was, unless the Republicans run another frickin RINO like McCain in 2012 I don't think there will be a 2nd term, let alone a 3rd.

On the other hand I never thought there would be a 1st term, so what the hell do I know?

You're right, when it gets close to election time, they'll come up with some crisis. Then congress will vote him "emergency powers" which he will never give up...peacefully.

I figure the crisis will hit shortly after the 2 annunciation so they can ramrod through a Constitutional Amendment overturning the 22nd.

And yes, Virginia, there will be a 2nd annunciation. That is why ACORN got so much money from the Feds and are involved in the census - which will conclude before the election IIRC, at least in the high-population centers, so the election is already stolen. And they haven't even printed the ballots yet.

Not unlike Honduras, where the deposed President was trying to do just that, ramrod a change in the constitution to remove the presidential term limit.   In Honduras's case, their supreme court called his hand and order him deposed.

Excuse my ignorance on this, but is this the same as declaring "Martial Law"? Allowing him to remain as President as long as martial law is in place? Is remaining as President even a part of martial law?

It's something stuck in the back of my head I remember hearing but I am not completely sure of how it works.
