I found it hard to believe he served with Curtis Lemay during WWII. McNamara was a staff statistian.

He learned nothing about fighting a war or caring for those who were in harms way.

For one of the brightess minds in the country, he sure was a dumbass.

He was a "bean counter" who had no connection to the REAL world.
Like the above line I stole from Mark Twain here's another apt one, I will not be attending his funeral but hope some one will convey my approval of the event.

I hate that he passed away before he could be charged with war crimes.  He was instrumental in wasting precious American lives by not fighting to win.  Makes him a war criminal in my book.
